| Lynn Crane
(Director of Guidance)
Lynn Crane lives in Anniston,
Alabama. She attended the 2006 Reunion.
She recently retired after 32 years, then worked
four more years for her church school, Faith
Christian School. She says, "Will always
miss those from REHS--a special time in all our
lives!"

| Hank Gill
(American Studies)
Hank Gill left REHS in 1993 and
went to Houston High School. In 1996, feeling
that the chimes had gonged, he retired from
teaching. He went back to work part-time in
2001 at Forest Hill Funeral Home. He and his
wife live in Cordova. He attended the 2006
Reunion.

Chester Mitchell

2007:]CHESTER B.
MITCHELL, JR., 59, retired Memphis City School
teacher, of Memphis, passed away May 20, 2007 at
Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett after a long
battle with cancer. He was the son of the late
Chester and Mary Mitchell of Millington, devoted
husband and beloved, wonderful father and
grandfather. He was a dedicated teacher and
friend and all will cherish his loving memories.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church
in Millington, graduated from Millington High
School and the University of TN at Martin, was a
teacher and coach at Raleigh Egypt School and
taught Adult Ed. at Messick. Visitation from
2:30-3 p.m. with services to follow at 3 p.m.
Tuesday, May 22 at Roller Family Funeral Home.
Burial in Seward Cemetery of Eads, TN. He leaves
his wife, Sandra D. Mitchell; daughter, Kathy
Bailey of Arlington; sons, Chris Baker, Robert
Baker of Arizona, Casey Baker of Memphis and
Tracey Baker of Memphis; grandchildren, Jennifer
Brown of Lakeland, Brandon Bailey of Arlington,
Emily Bailey of Arlington, Scott Baker of
Jackson, Katie Peoples of Ft. Smith, AR, Alaina
Wigley of Memphis and Matthew Baker of Arizona
and five great-grandchildren. Roller Family

Sophie
Theodore
On Tuesday, May 15, Sophie
Theodore was honored with a reception at the
Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church at 573 N.
Highland to celebrate her retirement after 45
years with the Memphis & Shelby County Public
Schools. Representing REHS were Mr. Jack
Coleman (math teacher), Ken Draffin (73), Joyce
Johnson Carlton (73), Donna Bethea Baucum (73), Jay Wells (73), Donnie Crain (74), Nancy
Smith (75), and Dale Berryhill (76).
