What's In the Reunion Video?

The two-disc reunion DVD contains nearly two hours of viewing time, split into the following chapters:

1. Welcome Back to Memphis (Beautiful aerial footage of downtown & the riverfront)

2. Friday Night Reception (See your old friends, and some of your old teachers, mix & mingle for the first time in years)

3. Memphis Blues Queens (Entertainment by the Blues Queens, who try to teach some of the ladies a new dance)

4. Lunch at the School (The Saturday afternoon BBQ lunch and wandering around the school)

5. REHS Video Tour (footage shot 3/07)

6. Saturday Night Banquet  (See who cleans up the nicest!)

7. Funniest Moment/Favorite Memory (Several of our classmates grab the microphone and tell us their favorite moments from high school.)

8. Saturday Night Program (Brief announcements, including recognition of the teachers in attendance.  And don't miss Mike Birdsong as our "prayer bouncer"!)

9. Who was your Favorite 70's Artist/Group?  (More classmates naming their favorite music from the seventies, complete with song clips and vintage album covers.)

10. Saturday Night Dinner  (More mixing & mingling)

11. Which Reunion event was your favorite?  (Various classmates rate the various reunion events. Hint: They liked them all!)

12. So You Think You can Dance  (WARNING!  This section contains images of middle-aged white people dancing!)  (You think we're kidding.)

13. End Credits  (A list of all those who helped make the reunion a success, accompanied by a video goodbye from various classmates.)

14. REHS Fight Song  (Played by the REHS Band and recorded by Greg Morrow, Class of 76, in 1974.)

15. Video Dedication  (A final farewell to Stephanie Marino, Class of 74, who passed away from cancer June 5, 2007.)

Bonus Disc

The bonus disc contains about 30 minutes of sound home movies (a rare format that quickly gave way to video tape), split into the following chapters:

3.  Performance by the Drama Club of "Barefoot in the Park," followed by the after-party at Teresa Jones' house (includes shots of Joyce Almond, Joey Spicer, Scottie Murnin, Spike Phillips, Skeet Price, Bill Johnson, and most of the people listed above).

4.  "Can't Get Enough of Your Love" performed by James Spires, Chuck Johnson, and Leslie Maddox.  Don't miss Leslie's fro and clear-blue drum set!

5.  Driving around Raleigh in the 74-75 school year (includes shots of Ricky Benedetti in his Wendy's uniform, Coach Turner pointed a rifle at the camera, Jerry Ratliff, Mike Gowrylok, Jeff Kuehn, Ronnie Mote, Joey Spicer, Mike Mills, Gary Roberts, and the brand new Raleigh-Springs Mall).

Our thanks to Leslie Stuart Maddox (75) for his wonderful work on this project!!
